David R. “Big Heart - Little Bear” Wagner is a Full Member of ACQTC and serves on the Executive Council Board. He and his wife Angie own and operate the Ancoda Farms at Tuckachawan (near Scotland, CT), which is the site of our annual 2003 Gathering.

David is a retired contractor, former selectman and he now raises Arabian show-horses. He is a talented artist and was appointed as the Resident Artist for IAIS (Institute for American Indian Studies).

David Wagner works hand in hand with David Ostrowski and Jack Dempsey, both of the Fishhawk Clan. They visit ancient sites and serve as volunteers at many archaeological excavations. What they observe is incorporated in their written reports and artwork depicting our ancestral heritage in Connecticut.

David’s paintings have graced the walls of many museums, and tribal collections. He is seen above at the Special ACQTC Millennium Celebration at Bayview Park, in front of the gazebo where he and David Ostrowski gave a magnificent presentation of their work to the public and to our own members.
