Profiles / Wanakia - The Peacemaker
 Jack “Wanakia (The Peacemaker)” Dempsey, Ph.D. (Brown University) is a Full Member of ACQTC and serves on our Executive Council Board. Shown on the left in the photo above, Wanakia operates the Fishhawk Clan Office in Stoneham, MA. Wanakia is a brilliant historian with a comic attitude, yet with an astute style of editorialism. He is a leading scholar on the relationships between Algonquians and the Puritans. He has many books in print (some titles shown below) and has written a new book with David Wagner on the Mystic Fiasco.
